Dr. Shobha Lal

Dr. Shobha Lal is a distinguished Professor of Computer Applications at the Buddha Institute of Management, GIDA, Gorakhpur and also serves as the Director of Higher Education at the Buddha Group of Institutions.

With an illustrious academic career spanning over 27+ years, Dr. Lal has made significant contributions in Mathematical Sciences, Computing, and in addressing women’s issues in academia. His leadership roles include serving as the University Provost (Vice-Chancellor equivalent) and Dean of Engineering and Education at Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur.

He is a globally recognized scholar, a reviewer for international journals like MR, and affiliated with prestigious organizations like AMS, ISC, CSI. As a mentor, he has guided numerous Ph.D. scholars and is known for pioneering work in civil services education.
